Planning
There are three phases to the Planning portion of a Continuity of Operations project.
Developing Continuity Strategies
Determines and guides the selection of alternative organizational recovery strategies for restoring operations and information technologies within the recovery time objective, while maintaining the organization's critical functions.
Emergency Response and Operations
Develops and implements procedures for response and stabilizing the situation following an incident or event, including establishing and managing an Emergency Operations Center to be used as a command center during the emergency.
Developing and Implementing Continuity Plans
Designs, develops, and implements the Continuity of Operations plan that provides recovery within the recovery time objective.
