Ed Deveau
Ed Deveau, a Principal Partner of Turning Point Solutions (www.tpointsolutions.com), has over fifteen years experience in continuity planning, and is recognized as a certified continuity planner. This background includes 35 years of project management experience in data center operations, systems development and data center recovery and business continuity planning.
Prior to Turning Point Solutions, Ed was with Comdisco Disaster Recovery Services for two years, where he was a two-term member of their National Advisory Board. After Comdisco, he ran his own practice for two years, then joined EverGreen Data Continuity as Senior Vice President for Business Continuity Planning Services. At Evergreen, he established their continuity planning service offering using continuity documentation and planning process he developed.
Prior to starting his consulting practice, Ed managed a number of areas of the State Street Corporation for 28 years. His experiences in managing data center operations and application systems development projects led him into his current focus in disaster recovery/business continuity planning. He was a two-time recipient of the Chairman's award for excellence.
Ed is also currently the President of the New England Disaster recovery Information Exchange (NEDRIX), an association of over 600 continuity-planning professionals working in the New England states. He is a featured speaker for local and national groups on the disaster recovery and continuity planning process, and (while at Evergreen) received a national recognition award from FEMA. He has developed and coordinated six large scale simulation exercises, including one for the April, 2001 CPM National Conference with over 200 people participating.
